The modular system

Digital plus: modular system structure based on assemblies

At the heart of Digital plus is always a control centre that generates the so-called track format from the commands of an input device. generated. This is "mixed" in the amplifier with the energy for the locomotives (and other consumers) and fed into the track. The decoders permanently "listen" to the track format; if the set address is addressed, the decoders filter out the commands commands and convert them into driving or switching functions.

The five logical groups of the Digital plus system (see graphic, click to enlarge):

Input

All devices with which you operate your model railway:

  • Handset controls
  • Interface for communication with the computer or a router

Communication

via the fast XpressNet™ network.

  • Currently up to 31 devices can be integrated
  • an extension is technically possible
  • Expandable up to 1000 metres
  • Connections at any point with the LA152 adapter
  • Connections of the input devices can be changed during operation

Data processing

The control centre is responsible for this. It coordinates the information from the input devices, detectors and receivers and generates the track format.

Reinforcement

of the track format generated by the control centre. This allows you to cover all sizes and all performance requirements. Data processing and amplification are combined in one device in the LZV100/LZV200.

Execution

These components convert the commands of the input devices into action:

  • Locomotive and function decoder
  • Switch receiver
  • Rückmelder

Digital plus grows with your model railway requirements.
