Diesel locomotive V 65
V 65 - Role model
At the beginning of the 1950s, there was a great need for renewal on the numerous works and private railways. The MaK diesel locomotive construction kit with engine outputs from 240 to 1200 hp was very successful. The four-axle versions in particular became very well known. More than 200 of them were built. The DB also ordered the V65 derived from it.
V 65 - Model
Due to the many striking differences such as ventilation slots, number of flaps, type and arrangement of lamps, glare protection, etc., we will choose a new production method for us in order to be able to take even more locomotive-specific differences into account.
This limited series is intended to be our entry into a new model series with brass models. With this technique, we can also produce smaller editions with many variants in an economically viable way.
This locomotive model also impresses with its rich equipment and - like all Lenz locomotives - with its detailed representation true to the original.
