Branch Line Cars Type Bay CL - The Prototype
At the beginning of the 20th century, the Royal Bavarian State Railways procured two-axle passenger cars with a five-meter wheelbase, as well as matching mail and baggage cars for branch lines. These cars remained in the inventory of the DB until the 1960s and can be used on layouts from Era 3 and even Era 4.
Branch Line Cars Type Bay CL - The Models
Bay CL 06b according to Sheet 570. The cars had two platforms with sliding doors providing access to the passenger compartment. The CL 06b offered 31 seats in 3rd class and included a service compartment. This car will be available with two different running numbers.
PwPostL Bay 06: Mail/Baggage Car. These cars were divided into a baggage compartment about five meters long and a 2.1-meter-long mail compartment, which was connected to the car's sole platform. The mail compartment was equipped with two workstations. Access to the baggage compartment was provided through two sliding doors on the side walls and an additional door at the car's end without a platform. Between 1906 and 1909, a total of 79 mail/baggage cars PwPostL Bay 06 were built according to Sheet 606, of which 44 cars still belonged to the DB in 1950.

Features of Lenz Gauge 0 Passenger Cars:
The Lenz Gauge 0 passenger cars are as true to the original as possible and include features such as:
- metal wheelsets
- constant, flicker-free interior lighting, digitally switchable
- power pickup in the axle bearings, ensuring no impact on running characteristics
- flange height less than 1.2 mm
- interior fittings
- automatic coupling with close coupling mechanism
- coupling standard shaft
- spring buffers
- retrofittable with original screw coupling
- "Complete model," no additional parts need to be assembled!
