Express train coach size 29
The Prototype
Express coaches of DB usage group 29, built from 1928 to 1931. Unlike their predecessors, the so-called "Hechtwagen" with tapered ends and slanted entrances, these coaches featured recessed, straight entrances. Thanks to the high weight of the all-steel coaches and the "Görlitz II heavy" bogies, the coaches were characterized by excellent running stability.
The Models
Available in numerous variants:
- Three first-class coaches, with different operating numbers and colors
- Five second-class coaches, with different operating numbers and colors
- Two baggage cars Pw4üe-28
- One express coach with dining compartment
In addition to the typical Lenz series equipment, the coaches feature:
- Constant interior lighting, switchable in digital operation
- Interior fittings
- Spring buffers
- Dark nickel-plated wheelsets
Features of Lenz Gauge 0 Passenger Coaches:
The Lenz Gauge 0 passenger coaches are as true to the original as possible and include:
- Metal wheelsets
- Constant, flicker-free interior lighting, switchable in digital operation
- Power pickup in the axle bearings, ensuring no impact on running characteristics
- Wheel flange height less than 1.2 mm
- Interior fittings
- Automatic coupler with close coupling mechanism
- Standard coupling shaft
- Spring buffers
- Retrofit option for original screw coupler
- "Complete model," no additional parts need to be installed!
